Shorty after the caiman reached the downed vehicle the occupants were removed from the vehicle and direct into the third gun truck so they could be cared for by the medic. A Quick response Force (QRF) team lastly arrived from FOB Marez and escorted Driver and Truck Commander to FOB Marez. The M915 was intemperately damaged by the blast and was recovered by the escort before pushing preceding toward to FOB Marez.
